About us

Mosquito Mud Pottery

group-photoMosquito Mud Pottery is made up of our close knit family of artists: Sam and Sarah Costanzo, and Jessica and Junior Jean- Pierre. Mosquito Mud Pottery has been creating functional stoneware for cooking, serving & décor since 1998, and was taken over by our family in August 2012. Our love for pottery began during college at Palm Beach Atlantic University where Sam studied studio art and became an apprentice to the head professor of ceramics. There he learned how to run a studio and create production quality pottery with artistic flare. He realized that pottery was something he’d like to pursue full time and after doing some local art shows to showcase our work and getting a great studio space in downtown West Palm Beach, we had the privilege of taking over the Mosquito Mud Pottery brand. We are featured in over 100 retail galleries and restaurants around the country. We’ve enjoyed getting to know our community through the local green markets, craft shows, and pottery lessons.
